 Ayurvedic Elements Yoga TTC in Edinburgh - 5 Weekends

In this 5 weekend program, we will journey into the indigenous wisdom of yogic philosophy & spiritual quest and perceive the translation of this ancient science into our contemporary lifestyle. As we embark upon the journey of unravelling clogged feelings and emotions in our body and mind, we will learn the pragmatic tools and methods to help us soothe the rough ends and unhook us from all the pain and suffering to sail towards Self Realization.

In this 100-hour Yoga Teacher Training, we will tackle with our everyday struggles with the assistance of the combined wisdom of traditional Hatha Yoga and Ayurveda together with the Meditation practices of the ancient yogic scriptures. We explore long-held therapeutic asanas that stimulate the flow of prana through the cells & the energy channels of the body-mind. Releasing deep layers of tensions held in the connective tissue & influencing the nadis that feed into all of our primary organs. We develop resilience & flexibility into the physical body & restore harmony & balance to the mental & emotional bodies. Thus allowing deep release on all level of our beings & inviting integration of Body, Mind & Spirit.

Discover the functioning of the mind and body through the science of Ayurveda and how to release the deep tensions and stresses of the body and mind with the varied practices of Yoga, thereby creating fluidity, suppleness and endurance.

Learn the science of Pranayama and its techniques to manipulate the flow of prana through the different pathways within the human body, realized by traditional Indian yogis, for nourishing the bodily systems with life force and thereby reshaping the organ health & elevating somatic exuberance.

Explore the Eastern perspective on the layers of the body, mind & spirit and how these are sewn together through energy pathways, explore how to align all dimensions of your being directly in your practice.

Learn the discipline of introspection and self-analysis through the study of philosophy & how to incorporate this ancient wisdom into the modern life.  

Practice detoxification techniques, meditation practices, mudras and mantra chanting to purify the mind and body so as to overcome the everyday challenges with courage and vigour.
